Swiss Alpine Raclette Cheese Dinner Event

We create a magical evening as if we were actually in the mountains!

Swiss Alpine Raclette Cheese Dinner Event

Experience a Swiss Alpine Raclette Cheese Event like no other!

The setting, the food, all the guests and especially the wondrous melty cheese make for a fabulous evening. We have teamed with one of our favourite teachers in Perth Tanya Barretto from The Cheese Maker. Tanya and Tracey have been scheming together and have come up with an event bring winter cheer to the long dark days!

The Cheese Maker

Tanya has her very own Raclette machine, direct from Holland. Specifically designed to create the most delicious nutty, melty cheese, the 8kg cut wheel of ‘Raclette’ style cows milk cheese sits beneath the heat and creates a layer of warm deliciousness. Raclette melts like a dream. Slathered over a plate of roasted Kipflers accompanied by some prime charcuterie and homemade crunchy pickled vegetables this cheese is a pure delight to behold and consume!

As Matters of Taste now resides in Mt Pleasant where the snow capped mountain is a landmark every local recognises. An Alpine Raclette Cheese Event seems to be quite appropriate and really quite a lot of fun.

Of course the evening will be more than just eating and drinking. Tanya and I will include entertaining learning about the cheese and its accompaniments. You’ll leave with a full tummy, a renewed love of life, a healthy respect for Raclette cheesemakers and maybe some new friends!

This is a special once-a-year event. If you don’t book your place now, you’ll be in for a long wait until the next Raclette dinner.
