Zulma Schubert

Originally from Peru, Zulma moved to Perth in 2010. She has always been extremely passionate about food, spending many afternoons enjoying her abuelita’s recipes. It was this love that brought her to Matters of Taste, first as a class participant, and now as part of the team!

Currently a university student, Zulma is (somewhat) famous around the law school for her brownies and passionfruit melting moments. Not only does she find cooking relaxing, but loves seeing the joy food brings to people. She loves experimenting with different flavours and spices, and has no shortage of volunteers when it comes to tasting!

Zulma also enjoys spending quality family time with her husband Adrian, who shares her love for food, and their two puppies Couscous and Jellybean.
