Kristen has always been a passionate lover of food. She recounts numerous times where she was told that ‘she was obsessed about food’. She still is!
She began her commercial food journey after having her two boys (aged 5 & 3½). She had baby weight to lose after two very close pregnancies, but her love of food was sabotaging that. She started to explore whole foods and raw sweets and substituted these foods in place of what she was eating. She subsequently lost over 20kg and has maintained that through a balanced lifestyle.
After her second son was born she started to make and wholesale healthy & RAW sweets to cafes in and around Fremantle. Whilst she loved making and eating these treats, she missed being with others.
Kristen’s love of food, learning new things and meeting great people is what brought her to Matters of Taste. It’s like a match made in heaven for her!
