Wine - Cabernet Sauvignon - West Cape Howe Book Ends 2018 Mt Barker WA

2018 ‘Book Ends’ has the berry fruit flavours so typical of Cabernet along with its great tannin structure. It has red berry fruits, ‘bramble’ berry and blackcurrant/cassis flavours along with a hint of earthiness; there’s also some light dusty characters from its period of oak maturation to add to its complexity.

There’s a dark chocolate character (think 70%) and those drying, quite chewy tannins that contribute to its great persistence and palate length and will ensure it ages well.
