Lettuce with red leaves are higher in antioxidants than green.

A soft lettuce to give textural difference to a salad. Use in sandwiches and in buns with other salad veggies and burgers.

If lettuce is looking a bit limp, gently remove leaves and soak in a sink of cold water for an hour or so to perk up. Spin dry in a salad spinner or a clean tea towel and store in air tight container in fridge.
