Experience the splendour of an al-fresco, long-table Italian lunch beneath cherry trees in a working orchard.
Cherries grown in the Southern Forests taste the sweetest just before Christmas.
Every year we're privileged to be invited by one of the regions pioneering farming families, to celebrate the cherry season in it's full glory, on their Manjimup property.
What's in store on this food adventure

Cherry Season
Cherry season in Manjimup is a time for celebration, it heralds the arrival of summer and the festive season to come. On the Guadagnino Farm it’s all hands on deck to pick and pack cherries for customers hungry for the quality fruit they grow. Ray always saves us some special cherries so there will be an opportunity to buy and take home for yourselves and as gifts

The Farmer
Ray Guadagnino will personally show us around, explaining what life is like on the farm during cherry season. He's a great storyteller and is proud of what his parents created. You’ll meet Ray’s wife Tania, his sister and brother-in-law, and other extended family members who all contribute to making this place so special. In fact, you’ll feel like family yourselves in no time

The Italian Way
On arrival at the Guadagnino family farm, the pace of life will naturally slow. Find your seat at the long table, ready and waiting amongst the cherry trees and sip on a chilled glass of local wine.
Lisa and her team from Pemberton's Wild at Heart, cook and serve a specially designed 4-course Italian style lunch featuring local produce and of course beautiful cherries, just for us.
