Bakery-Cardamon Morning Buns each

Scandi inspired laminated sweet buns perfect for breakfast or with a coffee or tea at any time of the day. These are one of the best sellers at Teeter Bakery. A cross between the flaky layers of a rolled croissant and a sugar coated doughnut filled with custard. What could be better?!

These little beauties take 3 days in all to make from start to finish. Handmade croissant dough made with French butter, rolled and coated with floral cardamom sugar, proved and baked in a Texan muffin tin (they're the big ones!) so all the sugar caramelizes around the bun and into the layers. But wait there's more... then its filled with just the right amount of Crème Diplomat (vanilla pastry cream combined with whipped cream to make a light and delicious custard).
