You’ll find three main areas in The Collective which are brimming with deliciousness. Access them from the top menu.
COOK, LEARN & WATCH

COOK
This is where you’ll find all recipes.
From quick dinners and baking favourites to dinner party dishes and seasonal cooking ideas, this is the heart of The Collective.
A few tips for using COOK:
- Use the search bar to look for ingredients, recipes or cooking styles.
- If search feels a little clunky, try simple keywords (for example chicken, rice or cake). The search engine searches words within the recipe titles, ingredients, method and cooks notes.
- Categories in the search bar include groups such as Main Course, Baking, Pasta, Pork etc. They display as a drop down list.
- There are 34 Masterclasses within this membership. These are the popular classes that were taught hands-on in the school for decades. Each Masterclass holds a myriad information including an introductory video explaining ingredients and recipes about cuisines such as Spanish Tapas, Intoxicating Thai & New York Nosh. And others focus on a particular technique or method such as pastry making in Exceedingly Good Pies and Tarts or Beautiful Breadmaking and of course this membership wouldn’t be worth it’s salt if it didn’t include step-by-step How to Make Sourdough.
- Many recipes include step-by-step videos and others are written recipes only.
- New content is added regularly and featured in Tracey’s Sunday Kitchen Note. Make sure you have signed up to receive this to keep up with news from Tracey’s kitchen.
Quick win:
Start by searching one ingredient already sitting in your fridge tonight.
LEARN
This section is designed to make everyday cooking easier, calmer and more successful.
You’ll find practical kitchen techniques and cooking know-how including:
- Baking tips
- Essential foundation skills
- Ingredient profiles
- Seasonal produce
- Pantry organisation
- Egg cookery
- Cooking methods to improve your skills
These are the kinds of things good cooks quietly know, and they make cooking far more enjoyable.
Quick win:
Watch one short technique video this week and use it immediately in your own kitchen.

WATCH
This is where food conversations, cooking classes and longer-form content live.
Inside WATCH you’ll find:
- Recorded live cooking school demonstrations
- Guest presenters and local food professionals
- The Curious Cooks Podcast
- Kitchen Conversations
It’s the closest thing to pulling up a chair in Tracey’s kitchen while we cook, learn and chat.
Quick win:
Put one episode or class on while you cook dinner one night this week.

FAVOURITES
When you discover a recipe you love, click on the heart in the right hand corner of each recipe or technique and it will automatically save to revisit later when you’re ready to cook.
Just click on the FAVOURITES tab on the top menu and you’ll find the ones you come back to cook, time and time again.

A Few Helpful Things to Know
Can I contact you?
Absolutely. Members are always welcome to email me with questions or comments about recipes and content. I read and reply personally.
Are new recipes added regularly?
Yes – The Collective continues to grow over time with new recipes, videos and cooking content added throughout the year.
Is content seasonal?
Very much so. The Collective is designed around Australian seasons and the ingredients we actually cook with here.
I can’t find something – what should I do?
Try searching with a simpler ingredient or keyword first. If you’re still stuck, send me a message and I’ll point you in the right direction.

My Best Advice?
Don’t try to “catch up” or watch everything at once.
The best way to enjoy The Cooks Collective is to dip in regularly – one recipe, one idea, one technique at a time – and slowly build a kitchen you feel really happy cooking in.
Welcome in.
