My all time favourite eating and cooking pear!

Eaten firm they're crisp, allowed to ripen they soften and become juicy, but never floury. The pear flavour is present at whatever stage of ripeness and that's what I look for in a pear... flavour.

The best pear for cooking due to the make-up of the flesh as well as, yes, you guessed it - flavour!
