What's in store on this food tour adventure
The Food
London’s food scene is bold and cosmopolitan’ from historic markets to cutting-edge kitchens and global flavours that define the city today. The Cotswolds is a true food lover’s destination, where organic farms, traditional pubs and thoughtful restaurants celebrate outstanding local produce. Southern Ireland’s food culture rests on sustainable farming and artisan producers, with renowned farmhouse cheeses and chefs blending tradition with contemporary flair. From this remarkable mix, we’ve handpicked a vibrant collection of experiences, guiding you straight to the places that truly matter.
The People
Along the way, you’ll meet some truly remarkable people. From Jekka McVicar – the Queen of Herbs a highly awarded and entertaining horticulturalist, to Darina Allen, Ireland’s national culinary treasure and founder of the world-famous Ballymaloe Cookery School. Time spent with pioneering Irish dairy producers will be enlightening, plenty of characters proudly displaying eye-watering arrays of seasonal produce at city and rural markets. We’ll eat dishes created by celebrated household names and, just as importantly, share conversations with locals everywhere we go.
The Place
We’ll travel through some of the most beautiful countryside in Ireland and the Cotswolds; winding along hedgerow lanes, passing rolling green fields and pausing in villages where you can feel the history. There are rugged coastlines, quiet rural roads and ever-changing views. Crossing the Irish Sea by ferry adds a little sense of adventure, and seeing London from the River Thames gives you a completely different city perspective. Early summer is a glorious time to visit. The days are long, the evenings linger in soft light, and everything feels open and alive. Parks in London are lush and inviting, and in rural areas the countryside is at its vibrant best.
If you’d like to arrive early or stay on afterwards, there’s always more to explore, but within these twelve days, you can settle in, relax and simply enjoy the ride. We’ll take care of the rest.
Travelling as a small group of just 14 guests allows for a personal experience, one where conversations unfold naturally, questions are welcomed, and lasting connections are made.
