Celebrate the comforting staples that shape Perth’s daily food story. Cream of the Crop takes you behind the scenes to meet the makers, see their craft in action, and taste the goodness they create.
- Return transport for the day in Matters of Taste’s comfortable tour vehicle – pick up and drop off at Barrack Street Jetty, Perth
- Full day, small group, food discovery tour – 7.30am to 2.30pm
- Guided visit to Perth’s award-winning cheesemakers — watch fresh curds, silky mozzarella and other delicacies being made
- Morning coffee/tea with selection of fresh pastries
- Drop into a pasta-deli to meet the maker and watch him craft his best-selling wares in this little slice of Italy.
- Visit to a working urban mill and bakery where WA-grown grain is freshly milled and baked into beautiful loaves
- A generous shared lunch at a Perth historical building, food created by the team behind one of Perth’s most respected baking and dining groups
- Complete the experience with gelato in hand whilst getting an inside look into the making process.
