What's in store on this food adventure

The Food

The Food

From hot, deep-baked loaves pulled straight from the oven to award-winning coffee poured beside a legendary cinnamon scroll, every stop celebrates flavour in its purest form. A long-table lunch in the heart of East Fremantle showcases big flavour, low-waste values and a deep love of local produce. Taste handcrafted smallgoods, explore a treasure trove of ingredients, and discover products that highlight the skill of local makers alongside exceptional producers from further afield.

The People

The People

Passion, resilience and a fierce love of flavour bring Perth’s food culture alive. Meet the pioneers who helped shape the city’s food scene – bakers who changed the way we eat bread, roasters who champion quality, and makers whose meats are often found stacked into loaded continental rolls right across Perth. You’ll also meet a long-standing artisan producer, still creating small-batch, truly original preserves and chutneys, offering a rare insight into the dedication behind food made by hand.

The Place

The Place

This isn’t about tourist stops, it’s real Perth. Flavour Founders invites you into spaces few get to see – wander through bustling kitchens and roasting rooms, breathe in the aroma of baking bread, and stand among hanging salumi in a family’s curing space. Visit the welcoming warmth of a local dining room where Perth’s food movement is still being shaped, it’s authentic, vibrant and full of heart. This is a day that celebrates creativity, community and the enduring flavour of home.

Many thanks for the food tour today – I so enjoyed every part of it and Anthony is a really good guide and driver!!   It was wonderful to see the passion that the local foodies have and the quality of their products is amazing!   I bought 5 different packs of coffee and now don’t know which one to open first – such a first world problem!!
