Lake Janis Farm 100% grass fed beef has high marbling, soft texture and outstanding flavour from slow growing animals. You'll notice the fat colour is quite yellow because it's high in beta-carotene and Vitamin D, and the meat contains healthy Omega-3. This is possibly the healthiest beef raised in WA.

This stunning Pemberton property is run by the Ryan family using a unique farming approach.

To provide their Jersey steers year-long grazing on grass, they apply natural biological farming techniques. Ferment compost made on site is enriched with naturally occurring ancient minerals.

This regenerative approach is paying off with rich multi-species pasture thriving and offering significant soil carbon sequestration. There's plenty of natural water sourced from the property's large lake, so irrigation by a huge pivot keeps robust, nutrient rich feed available 365 days of the year.

USE: A great all-rounder steak, rump is perfect for a variety of cooking methods. It can be eaten as a steak (pan fry or BBQ), diced for kebabs or sliced into strips for a stir-fry.
