Italian made, Rusticella pasta is air-dried for 40-60 hours, creating a dense, flavoursome pasta that retains its shape and cooks perfectly every time.
The traditional dough is simply made from stone-ground, strong durum-wheat semola (which is far less processed than flour) and spring water. Dough is extruded repeatedly through bronze dies, and then cut into shapes. Rusticella has a porous surface, ideal for sauce absorption. One you've tried this, you'll never go back to your old pasta brand 😉
Cook in large saucepan generously salted boiling water according to instructions on packet.
Fettuccine is an all-rounder long pasta wider than spaghetti and narrower than pappardelle, and suits most sauces - bolognaise, ragu, tomato, carbonnara, alfredo, simple garlic, chilli and olive oil.
