Garam meaning spices and masala meaning blend or mixture.

Most often associated with curries, garam masala is a delicious rub for BBQ fish along with dried chilli flakes or milder Korean Red Pepper flakes and salt to taste. It can be used with other spices at the start of a curry to bring out deeper flavours, or added just before serving to shine the light taste-wise, on it's top note spice components.

Includes fennel, cinnamon, caraway, black pepper, cloves and cardamom.
