Tasting and Brewing Notes
Gunpowder Green is a tiny pellet that expands into a long leaf when steeped. Named as it resembles gunpowder pellets! Excellent as a hot brew (without milk) or serve iced with apple and mint. Low in caffeine and high in antioxidants.

Reuse the tea leaves up to 2-3 times and then pop them in the compost or worm farm making this green tea excellent value.

For your enjoyment, LBM recommend brewing your Gunpowder Green tea using the following recipe:

2.5gm (1 teaspoon) loose tea per cup
240ml filtered water, ideally 75 to 80 degrees C
Steep for 3 to 4 minutes or longer if you enjoy a bolder flavour
Remove leaves to prevent further steeping
