What's in store on this food adventure

The Food

The Food

Amongst the varied dining experiences will be an evening at Albany’s most-revered restaurant, where French and Vietnamese cuisine beautifully intertwine. We’ll eat the freshest, award winning fish and chips where you can smell the ocean, and gather around a huge Marri table for a property-sourced menu in stunning surrounds. There are delicious breakfast at charming local cafes, winery grazing boards and picnics with epic views.

The People

The People

Long-standing relationships with family-owned farmers give us rare access to working properties usually closed to the public. Step behind the scenes and meet the people shaping the Great Southern’s food story — from Greek family fishmongers whose deft hands turn the cool-water catch into pristine fillets, to the new cheesemaker carrying forward a much-loved Denmark brand with skill, care and fresh vision.

The Place

The Place

The Great Southern is shaped by rich soils, a temperate climate and a clean growing environment where market gardens thrive, elegant cool-climate wines are produced and the ocean delivers its bounty. Our journey finishes at the Albany Farmers Market, where many familiar faces gather each week — the perfect place to fill your bags and take home a true taste of the region this spring.
