Fresh Finds is a Saturday spent discovering just how good food shopping in Perth can be when you know where to go.
For a limited time this spring, we’re opening just four Saturday tour dates to take you behind the scenes of some of the places we love to shop, introducing you to growers, farmers, makers and food businesses.
Taste, browse, ask questions and fill your basket at the market, enjoy a beautiful lunch by the Swan River as well as Italian fresh cheeses, handcrafted chocolates and a local wine tasting.
Turn curiosity into discovery – this is food worth eating and talking about!

The Day
Cheesemaker – Start with a behind the scenes tour of new production facility. Manning Road Farmers Market – Morning tea. Hosted market tour with manager. Meet selected growers, farmers and makers. Time to shop. Handmade Chocolates – Meet owner and chocolatiere, taste exquisite chocolates. Lunch – Local produce shared-plate lunch overlooking the sparkling Swan River. Drinks are available to purchase. Sommelier-Hosted Wine Tasting – Finish with plenty of invaluable Perth beverage intel.
The Food
There’s something wonderfully different about shopping this way. There’s time to look, taste and discover what’s in season – and perhaps pop an exciting find into your basket that wasn’t on your list.
You’ll head home knowing a little more about where your food comes from, who grew or made it and where to find it again.
And when you choose to buy directly from local producers, you’re helping these small businesses thrive and keeping wonderful locally grown and made food on our tables.

The people we introduce you to know their food because they grow it, make it, sell it and live it. Ask a question and you’ll get a genuine answer, a story and very likely a little knowledge to take home too.
These are hardworking farmers, producers, makers and independent food businesses who contribute to the incredible choice we enjoy in Perth.

Helpful Information
- A full-day hosted Food Discovery Experience with a small group of up to 12 guests.
- Comfortable transport throughout the day in our private tour vehicle.
- Two convenient pick-up/drop-off points – Alfred Cove at 7.30am or Perth waterfront at 8am. Please arrive with plenty of time to park and/or walk to your chosen departure point – our bus needs to leave promptly.
- Tour concludes between 3.00 and 3.30pm depending on your chosen drop-off point.
- A carefully planned itinerary introducing you to local food businesses, makers, growers and producers – includes wine tasting.
- Behind-the-scenes access, tastings and conversations along the way.
- Morning tea plus a gorgeous lunch featuring great local food.
- Shopping opportunities at selected stops. Includes market tote bag gift. Purchase an MOT coolbag and ice brick on checkout for all your goodies (or bring your own).
- Hosted throughout by founders Tracey and Anthony, sharing the stories, connections and food knowledge that bring the day together.
