Cherry Orchard Long Table Lunch - Manjimup

Saturday 20th to Sunday 21st December 2025

Experience the splendour of an al-fresco, long-table Italian lunch beneath cherry trees in a working orchard.

Cherries grown in the Southern Forests taste the sweetest just before Christmas.

Every year we’re privileged to be invited by one of the regions pioneering farming families, to celebrate the cherry season in it’s full glory, on their Manjimup property.

Relax and unwind before Christmas. Treat yourself to a gorgeous weekend of food, wine and great company!

Sorry, this tour is fully booked for 2025.

What's in store on this food adventure

Cherry Season

Cherry Season

Cherry season in Manjimup is a time for celebration, it heralds the arrival of summer and the festive season to come. On the Guadagnino Farm it’s all hands on deck to pick and pack cherries for customers hungry for the quality fruit they grow. Ray always saves us some special cherries so there will be an opportunity to buy and take home for you and as gifts. Local cherries for Christmas? Sure!

The Farmer

The Farmer

Ray Guadagnino will personally show us around, explaining what life is like on the farm during cherry season. He’s a great storyteller and is proud of what his parents created. You’ll meet Ray’s wife Tania, his sister and brother-in-law, and other extended family members who all contribute to making this place so special. In fact, you’ll feel like family yourselves in no time!

The Italian Way

The Italian Way

On arrival at the Guadagnino family farm, the pace of life will naturally slow. Find your seat at the long table, ready and waiting amongst the cherry trees and sip on a chilled glass of local wine. Lisa and her team from Pemberton’s Wild at Heart, cook and serve a specially designed 4-course Italian style lunch featuring local produce and of course beautiful cherries, just for us.

Well….. what can I say after returning from the magical Orchard Cherry lunch tour with your amazing organisation.  Your detail to everything is second to none. Being very “old school” hospitality I loved every minute.

And thank you Tracey and Anthony running Matters of Taste – an organisation you should be proud of.
